Gurugram Haryana, a resident of Rajkumar, Palam Vihar, had informed the Gangnahar Kotwali police that Dharmendra, a resident of Bhuma village, Muzaffarnagar district, UP, and Anish, a resident of Chausari district, Bijnor, UP, had signed a agreement to buy six old trucks in Roorkee for Rs 26 lakh. He had given an amount of Rs 2.5 lakh as advance payment. It was said that the remaining amount would be given after some time. But despite taking six trucks, the accused had not paid the remaining amount. Because of this, Rajkumar had filed a fraud case against Dharmendra and Anish in Ganganahar Kotwali. Ganganahar Kotwali Deputy Inspector Puneet Kumar was investigating the matter.
On Tuesday night, the investigator received information that the accused were seen near Chandighat in Haridwar. With this information, the Gangnahar Kotwali Police arrested both of them on the spot. Inspector-in-charge Aishwarya Pal said that when the arrested defendants were questioned, it was found that they had cut off all six trucks at Najibabad UP. The scrap where the trucks have been cut.
