Muzaffarnagar. Civil Lines Police Station on the basis of information from Monday night raided a place behind Bharat Dharma Kante in front of Meenakshi Cinema. Vehicle parts, two tractor engine blocks, three gearboxes, four fenders, one gearbox, two tires, three body tubes, a front axle, open nuts and other tractor parts were found scattered here and there. From this, it was clear that a massacre of vehicles was taking place there. A Bolero truck was also parked there, in which the merchandise of the cut vehicles was loaded.
Two tractors and their parts and other items were found at the scene in the mutilated state of theft. The police registered a case and took all the recovered goods from the place. During the police action, one of the accused escaped, while Hasim son Abdul, a resident of Noor Masjid Kidwai Nagar Khalapar Street, Asif son Anees, a resident of Babli in front of Khalapar corral accused have been arrested.
Police station chief Santosh Tyagi said the escapee defendant, Khalapar resident Mohammad Mian, was illegally chopping up vehicles. Those who have been caught are masons cutting vehicles.
