Muzaffarnagar. Under the Fertilizer Safety Act 2013, those people who are covered under the Antoday scheme or under the 2013 Act fall into the eligible category. The government order is that only those people will get free ration. This limit is set at 64 percent in urban areas and 74 percent in rural areas.
Giving information, District Magistrate Chandra Bhushan Singh said that our district is prosperous, many people have obtained Antoya’s ration card by concealing the information, on which strict action orders have been issued according to orders received from the government. District Magistrate Chandra Bhushan Singh said that those who do not present their ration cards and are not eligible, the recovery process will be implemented.
The District Magistrate said that there are 800 such people who have stopped taking rations on their own under the Antyodaya Ration. Companions 13 thousand participants have stopped taking ration during the last 6 months. Along with this, DM CB Singh reported that in accordance with the instructions received from the government, recovery measures will be taken against ineligible people taking rations and they will be recovered at the market rate. Since the instructions from the government arrived, the wealthy in the district are handing over their ration cards.
