Muzaffarnagar. Workers of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj party, protesting against the deadly attack on the national president and former cabinet minister and MLA OP Rajbhar, demanded the arrest of the accused. Demonstrating at the DM headquarters, the Subha SP workers demanded that the former minister’s security be impenetrable by giving the governor’s name through the DM.
Workers from the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party arrived at the Collectorate on Tuesday. In the memorandum given to the Governor, he said that the party chairman and the MLA are going from town to town, learning about people’s problems and solving them. He said that a few days ago, when OP arrived at Pahadaria Gosalpur Village Police Station, Karimuchhir Ghazipur District of Rajbhar Assembly Constituency, Zahurabad, he was attacked with sticks by chaotic elements there.
He said the way his party leader was indecently attacked and abused is absolutely not right in a healthy democracy. Party workers present at the scene provided security for him. Subha SP workers, in a memorandum sent to the Governor, demanded the immediate arrest of the accused while demanding increased security for OP Rajbhar.
