Muzaffarnagar. In Muzaffarnagar, a female student died after an electric rickshaw capsized in the mud at Nangla Marg in the Ratanpuri area and an iron gate fell on her. The student was said to return after taking the exam. The body was delivered in a gloomy environment. The villagers said that the road is in poor condition and accidents happen every day.
Qari Mustakim, daughter of Fatima (18), a resident of Bhanwara village in the Ratanpuri area, had gone to Budhana along with five other girls from the same village to sit for the X-class board exams in Urdu. After the exam, the girls would return home after riding the electric rickshaw from the village itself. An iron gate was also loaded on the roof of the e-rickshaw. The road from the outskirts of the village to the Nangla brick kiln is muddy and in very poor condition. So the e-rickshaw became unbalanced and flipped over in the mud. The door placed on the roof of the e-rickshaw slipped and fell on the student Fatima. So the girl was buried under the door.
At the same time, Fatima passed out due to a serious head injury. Other students also suffered minor injuries. The villagers pulled Fatima out from under the electric rickshaw. Family members also arrived at the scene and took the injured student to Budhana’s personal doctor. Where the doctor declared Fatima dead. After that, the relatives returned to the village with the body.
The villagers said that the deceased was engaged and that in a few days she was going to get married. On the other hand, the villagers have demanded the prompt construction of the muddy and dilapidated road.
