The district’s sugar cane officer, Dr. RD Dwivedi, says that the average production in the district has increased continuously for the last three years. We have gone from fourth place to second. The main reason is the decrease in the area planted with sugarcane after the wheat harvest and the increase in the area with Asoji sugarcane. CO 0238 and 0118 are the main contributors to the increase in average production.
