For the past year, brick kiln workers under the leadership of unorganized Mazdoor Morcha district chairman Satendra Jhal have been demanding that the government fix the brick stone fee. In this regard, the Morcha had delivered a memorandum to the Deputy Labor Commissioner, Santosh Agrahari. In which it was requested to declare the stone and rate of filling and clearing of bricks.
On Wednesday, together with District President Satendra Jhal, the brick kiln workers arrived at the Labor Commissioner’s office located at Banat Transit Hostel. Later Labor Deputy Commissioner Santosh Kumar Agrahari said he was off duty in Kairana on Wednesday, but the order has been set aside to give brick kiln workers in the district a grinding fee of Rs 605.
