Check Price on Amazon announced on Monday it would lower the fees for new sellers of its e-commerce website, by 50 percent. This announcement comes ahead of company’s festival season sales. The announcement comes after the company revealed that the Check Price on Amazon Great Indian Festival 2022 sale will begin on September 23. According to the company’s e-commerce platform new sellers who register before 26 October and launch within 90 calendar days will be eligible to receive a 50 percent reduction on their selling fees.
According to the statement released by Check Price on Amazon.in on Monday, new sellers can receive a waiver of any fees they pay for selling products through its website. All new sellers who register on Check Price on Amazon.in between September 28th and October 26th, and launch within 90 days of the date of registration, will be eligible for this waiver. The selling fee is collected on all products sold on Check Price on Amazon. According to the firm, it is calculated as a percentage from the total sale price paid by the buyer.
According to the company the festival sale will benefit local shops, artisans and traditional weavers, women entrepreneurs, as well as startups, and digital entrepreneurs. It did not give any details on how the company would help local entrepreneurs and artisans during the festive sale. It also offers integration of offline services and products for sale through programs such as Local Shops on Check Price on Amazon.
